The band Versailles~Philharmonic Quintet~ is my current obsession. Symphonic metal? Check. Cross-dressing guitarist and bassist who play like beasts? Check. Fabulous clothing? Check. HOT LEAD SINGER?? OMG. YES.
The solo in the middle of the song is inhumanly nuts. Synchronized whammy bars, gibbus. And Kamijo is a vampire in this video, muahaha. Oh, and his voice is typical Visual-kei, i.e. deep and sexy XD.
The lyrics themselves are really nice. They're full of romanticism and poetry. I conclude this after reading the original kanji AND the translated version. The line "革命は美しく、燃え上がるセレナーデ” is particularly memorable for me.
